Art Exhibition - Extravagant History
“Irish history has turned on a variety of axes or ‘turning points’, beyond the accounts of high politics. In acknowledging the profound changes that have occurred in the recent years in relation to the economic downturn the exhibition examines new approaches to Irish identity that further enrich our understanding of our broader narrative”


An Art Exhibition by Emily McFarland and Frank McGrath will be launched in Birr Library Atrium on April 4th at 6:30pm and will run until April 30th.
Both are graduates from National College of Art and Design and Crawford College of Art and Design in 2011 and were awarded, from their colleges, the residency at Belmont Mill, Belmont. This exhibition is based on their time at the mills last October and November.
