Are you interested in photography?
Tullamore Library is running a competition for children under the age of 16 years.
All you need to do is submit a photograph (standard size) before Thursday 1st December 2011 of an image that means Winter to you.
CD launch in Birr Library
Flautist Karin Leitner will be launching her new CD Seamagic in Birr Library at 2pm on Tuesday 15th November.

Exhibition of Slate in Edenderry Library
Edenderry Library are delighted to host an art exhibition by local artist Allison Finegan. Allison, who is a Canadian-born artist, has always held an interest in arts and crafts and the majority of her work experience has involved a creative flair. She has worked as a professional picture framer, painted wall murals and worked a number of years in IT as a graphic artist and technical writer.

Irish book awards shorlist
RTÉ Television will be broadcasting the highlights of the ‘Bord Gáis Energy Irish Book Awards’ on RTÉ One on Thursday, November 24th 2011, at 10.45pm. This programme will showcase one of the biggest celebrations of Irish writing with many of our most celebrated and loved authors in attendance.
